Everyone knows that one of the quickest ways to a person's heart is through their stomach, which is why ASDA is selling love heart shapedpizzas, just in time for Valentine's Day.
Let's be honest, no one actually wants to go out to a fancy restaurant on Valentine's Day, do they? Far too much effort; it's much better to lash apizzain the oven, crack open a bottle of wine and pop a murder documentary on Netflix. Romantic.
These delicious stonebaked pies are available at the pizza counter of selected ASDA stores, and there are five different flavours to choose from.
All pizzas are cooked on a crispy base, and the flavours include Mozzarella Meltdown, American Sizzler, Meat Feast, Very Veggie Supreme or Pepperoni Feast. Bin the flowers, say it with pizza this year.
Richard Byrne-Price,Asdapizza product development manager, said: "Last year, customers fell in love with our Love Heart Pizza, so we wanted to bring them back again this Valentine's Day. It's the perfect meal for couples or those celebrating as friends, after all, Valentine's Day is all about what you love.
"The pizza is inspired by the traditional Italian style - with a thin base and plenty of topping, cooked to perfection in astonebakedoven."
The love heart pizzas will set you back three quid each, meaning you'll have plenty of cash left over for a bottle of wine, a card and maybe even a cuddly toy.
Of course, if pizza isn't your thing, then that's fine becauseMarks & Spencer has you covered with its special edition 'Love Sausage'.Get your minds out of the gutter, it's a just a heart-shaped sausage, OK?
Sharing a photo of the frankly terrifying meat product, M&S cheekily asked: Are you ready for our Love Sausage?" Never been more ready for anything in my life, pal.
Before they added: "Heart-shaped, lightly-truffled, wrapped in bacon and in store tomorrow. Say it with sausages - tag who you'll be sharing your Love Sausage with this Valentine's Day!"
Now, it really doesn't get more romantic than this, does it? I'm sure whoever is lucky to get themselves some Love Sausage on 14 February will be bloody delighted.
